Take Action

Here are some steps you can take to protect yourself and those you love from getting sick

Wash Your Hands

Washing your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds can greatly help reduce your chance of spreading COVID-19 to yourself your loved ones. It is recommended that you wash your hands before and after touching food or coming into contact with people outside your home.

Wear a Face Mask

Wearing a cloth or medical face mask in places where you can't keep your distance significantly slows the spread of COVID-19 from person to person. Wearing a mask can also be a sign of love and respect to those who are at a higher risk of catching and getting sick from the virus.

Keep Your Distance

COVID-19 spreads very easily when people come into close contact with each other. In order to protect yourself and those around you, try to keep at least 6 feet between yourself and others when in spaces with strangers. Also, try to avoid engaging in activities that involve large groups of people.

Get Vaccinated If You're Able

As of right now, there are three very well-developed and studied COVID-19 vaccines available to almost every U.S. adult. All three vaccines have been proven to be extremely effective at preventing sickness and death from the COVID-19 virus. Getting vaccinated not only protects you, but it helps protect any loved ones around you from being exposed. If you're looking to get vaccinated, click here for more info.
